The Heritage Hub are a participating venue in Wheels of Time, where Roamin’ Rex encourages everyone to discover Kent’s museums and heritage sites.
Children participating can collect a badge when they visit one of the 53 participating sites.
They can then claim a Roamin’ Rex’s Award Badge for visiting 10, 20 and 30 sites and a Wheels of Time Award Badge for visiting all 53 sites.
Visit any of the museums and heritage sites shown on the Roamin’ Rex’s map and collect one of 53 different badges at each one.
Visitors are advised to check the Planner for a list of all participating sites, and opening information.
From 2 April 2021 Wheels of Time launched their e-badge scheme.
Dorset Launch – 7 June 2022
In partnership with the Weymouth and Portland Heritage Group, Wheels of Time are delighted to officially launch in Dorset.
The Dorset Scheme is being piloted in Weymouth and Portland across 6 heritage sites and museums:
- Nothe Fort
- Tudor House
- D-Day Centre
- Portland Castle
- Grove Prison Museum
- Portland Museum
E-badge launch – 2nd April 2021
The Heritage Hub, which is the window to the world of the Historical Research Group of Sittingbourne (HRGS), is pleased to be part of the Wheels of Time E-badge scheme.
The scheme has been developed to promote history and heritage across Kent, offering virtual badges by exploring the online activities of the participating sites, and which we hope will encourage participants to visit the sites when they are able.
E-badges are available to anybody that wants to take part, irrespective of age.

Wheels of Time Awards – 5th October 2019
Five ‘Sittingbourne Time Travellers’ collect their 2019 Wheels of Time Top Awards at the Heritage Hub in the Forum, Sittingbourne.
They had visited all 40 Wheels of Time heritage sites across Kent…and learnt about the varied aspects of the county’s history.
