It’s History? (thanks to Murston Heart)
Murston All Saints Trust (MAST) is working with the local community to shape a new future around the previously derelict medieval chancel building at Murston. They have established a creative community hub centred on the chancel, bringing back this green oasis to the heart of the community. The works on the restoration of the old church, and the new studios and cafe, were both completed in December 2022, and officially opened on 28th July 2023. The new building contains six studios, a cafe and a community education room. Pop into the ‘Hub café’ at Murston to see what has been achieved.
Why Visit?
The trust has worked hard over the last couple of years to restore the chancel and construct a community hub, with a focus on understanding and appreciation of the arts, culture and heritage.
