Description
This DVD is about Britain’s earliest pioneer fliers and the evolution of a major local industry in the creation of Shorts aircraft manufacture on the the island of Sheppey and then in Rochester.
The images for “Wings Over Sheppey” have been drawn widely from private collections and official records to celebrate the Centenary of the earliest flight in Britain that took place on Sheppey (Shellbeach, south of Muswell Manor).
