John is a retired Senior Bio-Medical Officer, and will talk about how different episodes of pestilence etc; shaped the future of histories of their time. He will tell us how diseases caused the downfall of the Greek’s, Roman’s, feudalism in England and France and the downfall of Napoleon. He will also ask us questions such as Small Pox? is/was there a Big Pox?
